Where can we have breakfast?

Come to our Alpen Adria Hotel for breakfast.

From 07.30-10.00 hrs, there is a daily generous breakfast buffet with coffee, freshly pressed juices, muesli corner, sausages, cheese, fruit, egg dishes, home-made breads ….

You can purchase fresh bakery products for breakfast at Schluga Seecamping (400m away). There is a mini-shop here (under the restaurant) during summer. This is expected to be open from 07.30 – 10.00 hrs and from 16.00-18.00 hrs – even on Sundays.

Yes, the Alpen Adria Hotel offers half-board.

Can food be delivered to the resort?

No, please enjoy the culinary delights offered in the Alpen Adria Hotel or the other local restaurants.

Where can we eat?

There is a small beach bar at the Lake Resort. Open daily during the season from 11.00-19.00 hrs in good weather. Coffee is available here, as well as drinks and snacks (such as pizza, chips, pretzels, …).

Near the resort:

  • Alois at Lake Pressegg’s lido
  • Restaurant Alpen Adria Hotel (midday à-la-carte cuisine from 11.30-14.00 hrs)

Is there a shop nearby?

There is a mini-shop at Schluga Seecamping (under the restaurant) during summer (400m away).

Is my four-legged friend allowed in the Lake Resort?

In general, dogs are allowed in the resort. The Lake Resort is a family-friendly holiday destination, therefore dogs must ALWAYS be kept on a lead.

Dogs are allowed in the beach bar in the area with chairs/tables, but not in the water. Furthermore, please do not bring dogs to the children’s playground or when sunbathing directly by the lido area.

Where can I take my dog by the lake?

Those who want to sunbathe with their dogs can head to the Schluga apartments dog beach (around 100 m away). There are marked dog lawns there. Dogs on leads are allowed in the outdoor bar and there is a 200m2 access to the water (dog beach). Cooling off is allowed here – but do not swim out into the lake with your dog.

A “free entry card for Schluga beach” is kept in the resort reception, so that you can enter the dog beach free of charge.

Is there an activity programme?

All Lake Resort guests may participate in the Schluga activities, e.g. a guided hike, mountain bike tour, speck-producing farmer hike, etc. Participation is free of charge. Please make sure to register on +43 4282 2051 or directly at the Seecamping Schluga reception.

Where are the wellness facilities?

The Lake Spa (2 sauna cabins, 1 infrared cabin) is available in the Lake Resort. Bathrobes, towels and a wellness bag are provided in all units.

All apartments in the “Lake Premium” category have a Finnish sauna directly inside the apartment.

In the Alpen Adria Hotel (around 400m away): ALPEN ADRIA SPA.

Relax and unwind in the Alpen Adria Spa with “Gail valley saunas”, Mediterranean Laconium, “Waldstubn” saunarium, aroma steam bath and infrared cabins.

  • New garden sauna with panoramic view to the mountains
  • Indoor pool with lounger whirlpool and underwater music (31°C) and outdoor whirlpool (36°C)
  • Waterbeds in the brine room, fire relaxation room and wellness relaxation beds

Alpen Adria Hotel is open from December to October. Indoor pool daily 09.00-20.00 hrs, sauna world daily 14.00-19.30 hrs.

At Schluga Camping Hermagor (around 5km away) – AlpinSPA.

Enjoy our year-round indoor pool and the connected heated outdoor pool (25.04 – 10.10. and 26.12. – 07.01. and 2 weeks at Easter), as well as our four saunas all year round.

Will the bed linen be changed?

The bed linen will be changed after 3 or 4 days for a week booking. Sauna towels will be changed more frequently, if required. Please throw towels used for this purpose on the floor in front of the apartment.

Please bring your own beach towels for the lido.

Can we visit friends at the camping site?

Visiting friends at the camping site is also possible and free of charge up to 2 hours. For this purpose, there is a visitor card (available at the camping receptions). Charges apply for visits longer than 2 hours.
Please register at the camping receptions. A form of ID will be retained as a deposit.

How can we pay?

We accept all major credit cards such as Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Diners Club.

Is children’s equipment provided?

We are happy to provide travel cots and highchairs. Please specify during reservation. All apartments are equipped with a kettle.

Are there parking spaces?

Apartments in the “Lake Premium” category have an allocated underground car park space. There are parking spaces directly by the resort for apartments in the “Lake View” and “Lake Woody” categories.

How can I bring my luggage to the apartment?

You can reach the apartments in the “Lake Premium” category from the underground car park using the lift.

Each apartment in the “Lake View” and “Lake Woody” categories have a handcart, which you can use to transport luggage or for the duration of your stay. You cannot drive your car into the resort to load and unload.

How far away is the ski area?

The Nassfeld-Hermagor ski area valley station with 110 kilometres of slopes is 12km away from the Lake Resort. The free ski bus runs from the resort directly to the ski area approximately every 30 minutes. The bus stop is around 100m away. You can obtain ski passes at the resort reception, in the Alpen Adria Hotel or from Schluga Camping Hermagor.
